The 2010 Hosta Garden Tour started as a nice day...and ended as a nice day! But, the 'in-between' was a monsoon! Thank goodness, most people had their umbrellas, while others held out in Jim's garage.
We began the tour in Jim and Lois' wonderful hosta garden under decent skies. As we finished looking at all the hostas, the clouds broke loose. Thank goodness we got to enjoy it before the rain.
We headed to Mary's garden and by that time, the rain had started to slow down so that we could enjoy wandering through her garden....so many hostas to see.
As the rain went to a sprinkle, we all gathered at Kathy's corner lot in Palo. We still needed the umbrellas, but no one minded as they looked at all the garden art she had in her garden.
Jay and Nancy's garden was our last stop...beautiful hostas and lots of stone. We were going to have our luncheon on the driveway, but due to the rain...they quickly decided to use the garage. Our luncheon was great and as the rain stopped...we held the auction in the driveway! Zeller did such a super job as our auctioneer! We all enjoyed!
